Photographs and Adventures

About

To me, a photograph is a moment in time captured forever. Everyone knows that time just does not stand still; we all get so busy with our lives that eventually when we stop for a moment, we wonder where all that time went. Only in photography does time stand still. An image captured today will forever remind us of that moment in time.

Now that we have more precious time to follow our dreams, the two of us are heading off in our Landcruiser Sahara with an offroad Goldstream caravan hitched behind, plus a tent and other camping goodies for those places inaccessible to a caravan.

Photography gear comprises a Canon 6D with various lenses, a Canon 500D with an 18-200mm zoom lens, and Canon Powershot as a backup camera and for taking out on the water.

We are looking forward to continuing the adventure!

Hi Rhonda and Peter ! Gillian passed on your blog address, so I’ve just spent a very enjoyable morning reading through your adventures and marvelling at your photography. Well done !
I’m sure all at the Phillip Island Camera Club would love to hear about how you’ve documented your journey and photos. I would anyway !
Our 7 weeks away was fantsastic but I wouldn’t have had the energy at the end of the day to keep just a fantastic and descriptive record to share with others.
Hope all continues to go well for you both.
    Cheers,

We are here at Exmouth and checked out Barn Hill! Glad we missed the bull on the road but others along the road have commented on that lovely spot. We’ll find it hard to move on to Coral Bay after our Cape Range National Park and Ningaloo Marine Park Reefs. Hope we catch you again along the way soon. Love Fran & Jeff

  12. Hi there,

Love all your photos of the Kimberley! Just wondering if I’d be able to use one or two of them in an interactive guide to the region we are creating?

Please let me know what your policy is.

    Many thanks,

    Sophie

Your website is brilliant! For the moment I can only live vicariously through your adventures but you’ve been an inspiration. More people from the city need to look at pictures like these for a reality check! Thank you. It’s just a shame you don’t have a direct contact.

Hello, I work at a national newspaper and we’d really like to use a picture of yours to accompany a travel article. If that’s OK, could you please get in touch? We go to press in two days so if you get this after June 10, don’t worry. You have some fantastic shots!

  15. Hi Rhonda, same as a few people above – I was wondering if we could use some of your photos on our website – a local business in Lakes Entrance. Happy to pay for the use. Could you reply and let me know?

    Hi Rhonda,
These are some beautiful images of the North West.
We are a local employer located in Mount Isa and we are interested in using a couple of your photos for a recruitment campaign.
Is there a way (perhaps via email) that we can contact you to discuss this?
    Regards,
    Linda
